Equipment

  • 2 Mugs Microwave safe

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp Sugar Granulated
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder Unsweetened
  • tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp Milk
  • 2 tbsp Melted Butter or Neutral Oil
  • ¼ tsp Vanilla extract
  • Chocolate Chips or Nuts (optional), just a few for added texture

Instructions

  • Prepare the mugs: divide the dry ingredients equally between two microwave-safe mugs: 2 tbsp flour, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt in each mug. Mix well.
  • Add the wet ingredients: to each mug, add 1.5 tbsp milk, 1 tbsp melted butter (or oil), and a drop of vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is smooth and no lumps remain.
  • Add mix-ins (optional): Stir in a few chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
  • Microwave: microwave each mug separately on high for about 45-60 seconds. The brownie should rise and look set but still moist in the center (cooking times may vary depending on your microwave).
  • Serve and enjoy: allow to cool for a minute before serving. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of chocolate sauce for extra indulgence.
